Three stages.
From a conversation to a commission.
The practice is best suited to substantial renovations and additions whose owners want help finding the design direction. Your priorities and budget shape the brief; Lovett Homes develops the design and carries its decisions through construction.
An initial phone conversation establishes whether a complimentary home visit would be useful. The Spatial Study is the first paid service, with a separate agreement for any construction commission that follows.

Foreword Consultation
Complimentary · 40–60 minute visit
After the initial phone conversation, a walk through the house helps identify what you value, where daily life becomes difficult, and what you hope could change.
A brief written follow-up records the main question and a recommended next step. If a Spatial Study would be useful, its scope and fee are agreed separately.

Spatial Study
First paid service · $2,500 fixed fee
Existing conditions provide the basis for testing layouts. Plans and written reasoning explain a recommended direction, alternatives considered and questions needing further work.
The fixed fee is $2,500, with delivery targeted for about one week from the agreed start date. Scope, fixed fee and delivery date are confirmed before work begins.

Re-Authored Home
Design and construction
Lovett Homes develops the design and holds the construction contract, engaging the trades needed to complete the work. Carson directs the design, oversees construction and remains your point of contact.
New commissions are considered as suitable projects arise. The scope, construction schedule and responsibilities are agreed before proceeding. A Spatial Study does not reserve a construction start.

A Home for a Marriage
Different schedules shaped the question: how could a primary suite provide privacy while allowing one person to get ready without disturbing the other?
The study compares an interior reconfiguration with an addition. Each option is considered in relation to the rest of the house.
